Since its inception, Belongg has been collecting narratives of persons from various social locations. Through Belongg Listening Circles, we invite persons belonging to diverse backgrounds to share their journey/s of navigating mental health & identity with us and create a safe space together.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and the Belongg Mental Health Collective used this time to amplify the importance of mental health issues at the intersection of identity.

In May 2020, Belongg sought to identify the problem of intersectionality and mental health by running a survey titled, ‘Identity and Mental Health’ which aimed to ascertain the impact of identity on mental health in the Indian context.
