Inclusive Mental Health Festival 2020

To commemorate Mental Health Awareness Month, Belongg Mental Health Collective organised ‘Inclusive Mental Health Festival’ on 30th May 2020.

Other than hosting a list of panel discussions on Inclusive mental health, Belongg launched the results of a research study the Belongg team conducted with an objective of looking at people’s experiences with therapy and the challenges they face due to their identity.

The day-long “Inclusive Mental Health Festival” brought together six sessions across a range of formats – panel discussions, film screening/ book reading, workshops, and the launch of initial findings from the above-mentioned report – bringing increased awareness around the need to render customised mental health services to people from various identities. Several prominent mental health organisations and researchers focused on inclusion are partnered with the organisation for this.
