But there are promising tailwinds and a window of opportunity going forward and Belongg is launching the ‘Belongg Student Ambassador Program For Diversity & Inclusion 2021’ to create more inclusive school spaces across India.
The program seeks to work with conscientious students and train them in being more inclusive and nurturing spaces within their school that are welcoming of students with LGTBQ backgrounds as well as physical and cognitive disabilities. The program is structured to promote significant student involvement in running the program in their school, developing leadership skills, gaining mentorship, and becoming changemakers in their community.
